via apartmenttherapy.com I love how the color in this kitchen comes the dishes on the open shelving…one of these days I’m going to finally start buying Fiestaware and do this in my kitchen… Posted via email from Three By Sea at Home | Comment »

via desiretoinspire.net Bright turquoise table amidst a sea of bright white cabinets AND a wine cooler/cocktail station?? I’m officially in love with this kitchen. I don’t even care if it has a stove or oven… ;) Posted via web from Three By Sea at Home | Comment »

desire to inspire - Flickr finds - laundry rooms
via desiretoinspire.net Ok, you can lose the flowers- I’m not buying that people actually have fresh cut flowers in their LAUNDRY room, but I do love this room. With all that natural light and serene blue, it could ALMOST makes laundry seem meditative. As opposed to a the mind-numbing, tedious job it really is. Kitchens- Inspired Rooms: Add some fun & whimsy |...
via theinspiredroom.net I find myself falling more in love with white rooms that have big punches of color. It must be the pendulum swinging other way from the brightly colored walls I had in my house a mere six months ago. Anyways, I love the painted cabinets and island, the openness of this kitchen, and that dog portrait makes me want to do one of my dog, Jasper. Posted via web from...

Bathroom Sp-Ahhh ... - desire to inspire - ...
via desiretoinspire.net I subscribe a more blogs than I have time to read, so I end up scrolling through the design pics fairly quickly. The good thing is that when a picture makes me stop, scroll back, and really take it in, I know it’s something good. The soft green, all the white, that side table, and that big, deep tub in front of that big, bright window and under those sky lights....

Outdoor Living - desiretoinspire.net - John Jacob
via desiretoinspire.net One of the things I want in my next house is a screened-in pool and lanai for sangria sipping and lazy day lounging. I’m ignoring the fact that all the furniture in this picture is white and that this space is bigger than my current living room, and pretending that I’ll have an outdoor area like this one day. Kitchen- desiretoinspire.net - L Kae Interiors
via desiretoinspire.net Love how balanced this kitchen looks and the alternating closed cabinets/open shelves. This is a bit more doable than having all open shelves, which looks great, but I suspect is impractical for keeping neat and tidy. Posted via web from Three By Sea at Home | Comment »

desire to inspire- Flickr finds - coat racks
via desiretoinspire.net Love the bench for sitting, love the hangers mounted on the wood gate (paint it white for me though) and love the box on the bench for storage. Replace the coats with beach bags and the shoes with flip flops and it’s perfect for a beach cottage. Posted via web from Three By Sea | Comment »

DIY: Colorful Mosaic Wall | Apartment Therapy...
via ohdeedoh.com This might be a bit bright for some, but I love all the possibilities this idea holds. I’d love to do this in shades of blue, creating some sort of deep sea effect. Since it is paper, however, I wonder how long until I could do something like this in a child’s room. My two-year-old would have the bottom half of this wall ripped off in about ten minutes. Skip the Shelving...
via mintdesignblog.com I repainted my living room walls a few months back but have yet to hang shelves. I wanted big long shelves with a lip along the front so I could prop frames up on them, thus allowing for a quick change. Unfortunately the walls in my house are crooked and a five foot shelf against the wall created a two inch gap on one end if the other end was flush against the wall....

Paintbox Quilt Along With Oh, Fransson
via blog.craftzine.com I’m in love with the bright colors set against the white on this quilt. I picture this in some whitewashed little beach cottage, perhaps out on a little couch that sits on your wraparound porch, for those chilly nights when the breeze is coming in off the water. That just reminded me, I had a dream last night about buying a fixer-upper on the water....

Sunday Morning Brunch
via housebeautiful.com Found this banquette on House Beautiful this evening- another one that I’m loving. Al Fresco Feasting - Key West Getaway
via coastalliving.com The big, aged wood table looks comfy to sit around with friends and those curtain panels seem perfect for gently catching the breeze off the water. I adore the windows opening out from the kitchen as well, so nice to have the windows open. Enough Room to Shave My Legs
via housebeautiful.com Oh, I’m loving the size of this shower and the bench along the back. How I would love to sit down to shave my legs instead of hiking my leg up on the back wall of the shower, praying I don’t fall over and die in a very unfortunate and unsightly manner…;) -Nic Posted via web from Three By Sea | Comment »

desiretoinspire.net: Today I'm loving .....
via desiretoinspire.blogspot.com I find myself becoming more and more drawn to white background as a backdrop for all the color I like to have around me.This kitchen by itself is a bit too plain for my tastes, but it could be livened up with just a handful of items- some seat cushions, a different bowl on the table, kitchen towels, and maybe a plant. I also want to believe that these are all...

Scandia White
via corelle.com Corelle is the company that makes those non-breakable dishes- handy when you have a 20 month old who’s obsessed with carrying the dirty dishes to the sink. Bathroom Makeover- DIY Ideas
via diyideas.com We are in the process of redoing our indoor bathroom (the other being located in the garage- don’t ask!)
